    Limbaugh comes out for Obama

He has publicly urged Republicans to vote for Hillary Clinton to keep the divisive Democratic nomination fight alive, but talk radio host Rush Limbaugh said Wednesday it's Barack Obama who he really wants to be the party's nominee.

"I now believe he would be the weakest of the Democrat nominees," Limbaugh, among the most powerful voices in conservative radio, said on his program. "I now urge the Democrat supereldegates to make your mind up and publicly go for Obama."

Limbaugh was also quoted as calling for the sun to rise tomorrow morning, for birds to fly south next winter, and for American Idol to suck.

Is that fat **** really this desperate for attention?

I guess when the conservative movement is embarassed the way it has been in the last few years, you will grasp at anything.

    he makes a good point:

"Barack Obama has shown he cannot get the votes Democrats need to win – blue-collar, working class people," Limbaugh also said. "He can get effete snobs, he can get wealthy academics, he can get the young, and he can get the black vote, but Democrats do not win with that."
i looked at the election maps from a couple of days ago and the only places obama won were urban areas

He doesn't have a valid point... What happens in primaries is no indication of what happens in general elections... History has shown that time and time again...

Clinton supporters don't equal McCain supporters and vice versa. If Hillary was the nominee, she would depend on urban areas, like all Democratic nominees do.

but this voting was not a sample of all people. it was a sampling of just democrats. obama was not winning the regular folk in his own party. you are right that urban areas vote democrat. but that thats not where the election is usually won. it would appear that hillary would be able to better contest mccain in the suburban and rural areas while still maintaining the urban areas by default

And Hillary can't win a majority of the overall vote in her own party. I would take more overall votes in a state before winning the "white working class" vote.

You also dismiss the fact that Obama doesnt have a VP yet, and thatll make a huge difference.
