Why wait to address the NT position?

    http://walterfootball.com/draft2010DT.php

This is why. Take your pick from this list. Next year's NT/DT crop is
    a bumper one indeed.

Why reach for a NT this year when next year is a smorgasboard.

My choice would be Ndamukong Suh with our 1st pick in the 2010 draft.
I would go after Suh even if we had to trade up to do it.

i think you have a great point, however, NT like CB, WR, and QB takes time to learn, form what i have seen. there is a lot of technique that differs from college, where these kids were the biggest and strongest guys on the field. i think the earlier we get a NT in here learning the better. But what do i know, look at Solia he has been learning for like 3 seasons. and yes,a s you stated, i really dont want to reach for a second rate NT that we will have to replace in a few years, especially early in the draft

Yea Next year's draft is going to be strong at alot of positions. I totally don't mind trying to stockpile for next year.

next year could be huge, but a lot of it does still rely on a couple underclassmen.

Also, we should probably pick on up this year so they can get a year of seasoning. If we can't resign Ferguson and don't get a NT this year, we've got to put the bulk of the work on a still raw Paul Saoli and a rookie.

Its always a gamble waiting because there is no way knowing where we are going to be picking or where players will go. I still think we go 2nd round for a NT be it Brace or whoever. Alot can happen in one year, best to treat a problem when you can until putting it off.
