I know you cap mavens know!
About 30 million I believe
last i heard it was about 39.5 mil i think. plenty of money
PFT had our cap number at $101 million as of Feb 11th with the cap for 2009 being $124 million. I'm guessing, after the Carey signing, we probably only have $19-20 million left.
Well in the Sun-Sentinel it says that the Fins have 19 million for Free Agency according to Omar Kelly.
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/f.../pro/dolphins/According to a source, Carey will be on the books for $5.25 million this season. That means the Dolphins have roughly $19 million to work with in free agency to possibly re-sign guys like Yeremiah Bell, Andre' Goodman, and lure others this weekend.

Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.
When was the last time Omar Kelly was a reliable source?
I don't trust the guy in things that aren't proven... for the most part.
Plus, Omar Kelly is pretty cool for a media guy, IMHO.
I guess no one decided to read the top post in this forum before posting random numbers in this thread.
I'll give you guys a link (its the thread right under this one, shhhh!)
Omar's number of 19 million is pretty close to my number of 23 million. Depending on what he estimated the cap to be and depending on if he estimated any cap credits or debits from LTBE or NLTBE incentives from last year, we might have the same exact numbers.
ok, so really nobody knows, got it!
