To Change Your Heart
allman brothers are one of my all time favorite bands, and live at the fillmore is the best live album ever made IMO. in memory of elizabeth reed was phenomenal. their live at ludlow garage is also awesome but not quite as good as the fillmore.
i'm not a huge fan of live albums on the whole - i'm a quality snob. cash at folsom was pretty damn good though. dylan, the band, and the dead also have some great live ones that you should hear.
"Free Bird" is about one of them right?
Live at the Fillmore is a tremendous album. They were such a great band before Duane Allman died. Warren Haynes and Derek Trucks are both great guitarists also (for the modern Allmans), but nothing beats Duane Allman and Dickey Betts back in the early 70's.

"Well the cool breeze came on Tuesday, And the corn's a bumper crop
And the fields are full of dancin' Full of singin' and romancin'
The music never stopped." - Bob Weir
