If it went down like that I'd go with Brandon Pettigrew myself.
I hope that this is WRONG as it has nearly every pick we make as a reach. Also, I don't personally like any of the picks either.
That draft looks very plausible. I will be surprised if we pick Laurinaitis because he is an ILB and not much of a thumper, fumble forcer or interceptor, but when it's all said and done he's going to be a very good NFL player for a very long time and exactly the type of steady, reliable, lockerroom presence this organization wants.
I don't see us picking Laurinaitis, but in general the draft has the best talent in the general range it should be picked. None of this silliness like Percy Harvin in the top 10 and Brian Cushing in round 2 or stupidity like that.
"I want guys who want to make an impact on and off the field. Good human beings. Guys who want to get better. Guys who want to improve. They want to be great, want to win. Those types of guys we can work with every day." --Joe Philbin
- Defending the Read Option - What do you think?
We take Laurinaitis and I will be pissed. I'm open minded to several different options with Butler, Nicks, Britt, Davis, best OLB/pass rusher. Laurinaitis and Bey are two that would upset me.
