Second game this year where he has lead the team in tackles. Only one play I can think of that he missed a tackle.

You are not the only one noticing. But, I wouldn't say he's necessarily having a good year so much as he's turned it up a notch in the last three games. He was same ole Morlon NoWood for the first 4 games I think, but when he needed to step up in place of Junior Seau against the Jags, he did it in spades...then he continued off that success making some good plays against NE, and followed that up with another good outing tonight against the Chargers.

It seems like the Jags game really gave him a feel for the defense and making plays, after he got a whole game to get into rhythm against the Jags.

Also, you notice Arturo Freeman really stepped it up a notch tonight. That was good, cuz in other games he was laggin

I noticed that too. In fact, tonight and since Buffalo I have noticed that Miami's tackling has gotten better and better. Especially after the horrible tackling they did against the Texans.

Oh definitely. I forget the number, but I think they had like 19 missed tackles against the Texans. They limited that down to 11 or something against the Jets. Then against Buffalo, they just about eliminated the missed tackles altogether.

People were talking about how our D sucks so bad after the Texans and then again after the Jets just cuz Vinny tossed for 370 yards or somethin (only 10 points) but the difference between those D's and now is just tackling and interceptions. Our tackling has definitely improved dramatically from the first game on.

Greenwood is finally earning his pay check. The third year in a player's career is usually when everything starts clicking. With him playing well we won't have to look to draft another LB next year with Eddie Moore coming back to learn under Seau for a year or two. LB is one of our youngest positions, pretty soon we'll have to start looking for Zach's replacement.

I hope Miami's defense can keep it up all year. Then they can be over hyped like the Tampa Bay defense

Freeman even made a couple of big tackles. One sack and one in the open field.

Freeman had a good game tonight. Made some plays and got right in there on that one blitz. And he does look a little more bulked up this year.
