"I worry about wins; I don't worry about meaningless fantasy #s"
(fine for RT17 but not when it comes to someone's HC and beloved QB)
My take on the season finale:
very disappointing, contrived; In ineptly trying to tie everything together in a neat bow, the plot direction defied credibility, sort of negated the Cartel's past menace, is giving Bobby a literal "get out of jail card" and revealed that Clay's obvious demise was little more than a teaser. Also, no real cliffhanger. As a huge fan of the show, I was underwhelmed and less excited about the start of next season.
Oh well, onward next month to some more unapologetic, gratuitious "Justified" blood and violence down near Bumpus' hollow.
Just lurked in here by accident...Dang Vaark didnt know you were a SAMCRO fan.
My favorite shows.....SOA...Boardwalk Empire...Justified and Walking Dead plus Breaking Bad
SpoilerI felt the same way. It really wasnt believable at all to me. I know you have to suspend belief some when watching shows like this, but I think they jumped the shark with this Cartel thing. It was a great season and I think they just had so much going on that they wrote themselves into a corner. Also mad that Clay isnt dead.
Wire, one of the best-ever dramas. Haven't watched Walking Dead because Tyler dis-recommended it.. but will catch the first season at some point.
Still and all, my favorite current show which just ended, and IMO funniest show ever on TV is CYE, although it might have lost a step or two over the years.
You should spend more time in the Lounge Submariner; I think you'd be less frustrated than you sometimes get, eh?
I was sort of disappointed in the season finale.
From what you guys are saying, I am missing out on a show by not watching Justified. Looks I have some catching up to do.
