WH attacks Fox again, backtracks on Fox after asked about MSNBC bias

Jarrett makes, retracts charge Fox is biased
    Posted: October 27th, 2009 04:53 PM ET
But when Brown followed up by asking Jarrett if she thinks MSNBC is biased, she quickly downplayed her original remark. "Actually, I don't want to generalize all of Fox is biased or that another station is biased. I think what we want to do is look at it on a case-by-case basis," she said. "When we see a pattern of distortion, we're going to be honest about that pattern of distortion....

"We're actually calling everybody out. So this isn't anything that's simply directed at Fox. We just want the American people to have a really clear understanding," said Jarrett.
Whenever the WH continues to make attacks on Fox's biased news the media should ask about MSNBC. Perhaps then WH will then drop this "war" on Fox.

It was always a lose-lose. You would think that with so many former Clinton staffers that someone would have reminded Obama about Clinton versus Limbaugh.

hey wayward, who is that in your sig?

i never understood why obama and his peeps are doing this to fox. all is does is make them look petty and it gives fox better ratings, it has given bill o'reilly a weeks worth or commentary. sometimes you do more hurt by ignoring people.

Elizabeth Warren, head of the panel overseeing the bailout and the person who proposed the new consumer credit card protections that Congress is debating. The more I hear her talk, the more I like her.

I think this situation is spinning way out of control for the WH, I expect to see the WH put a Gag order on anyone speaking about Foxnews soon.

When Obama earlier this week (?) downplayed all this Fox stuff I believed the WH had already started going into a "gag" mode...maybe Jarrett just didn't get the memo.

Does the White House not have anything better to do? I mean, I would rather see them make a press release about how Ted Ginn sucks instead of this nonsense. It's a battle they can't win, just ignore them.

While I agree, I think it's the same principles that bush 2 used to give Fox talking points, while ignoring the rest of the news media..

Whew! Ty for bringing up Bush. I thought we were going to go a whole thread without using Bush to justify the fact the Obama sucks as our president. That was a close one.
