Really? I thought it was one of the more creative blockbusters in a few years.

District 9 is good in the sense that it parallels a lot of current and past issues of certain societies interactions to another "lesser" society. In that sense it is portrayed brilliantly. Also, some of the CGI was amazing.

If it were up to me Inglourious Basterds would win every catagory it is in, but that is just me. That said, it think Avatar will be the biggest winner and deservingly so.

Although, I do believe Christoph Waltz truely deserves to win Best Supporting Actor.

I think Avatar is going to win a lot of awards. Although, I hope the Blind Side gets some love as well. Great movie!

The Hurt Locker is so much better than every movie on the list it's not even funny.

Finally saw Hurt Locker and it gets my pick for Best Movie. It is so great on so many levels and is truely a masterpiece of filmaking.

The scene where the main character is talking to his sone about the things you truely love, and how they diminish as you age is one of the only scenes in movies in the alst couple of decades that really got me where it hurt. That's almost straight out of my head.

That is such a great moment. Made me think about a lot of things and they way I live my life. Very few movies can actually do that.
