Personally, I never really felt you could compare movies of entirely different genres against each other fairly, so I separated mine. Of course, then you run into the problem of not everyone agreeing what category a movie should be in. So I'll just say "your mileage may vary" and "to each their own." All movies are in no particular order.

    Comedies

    Airplane
    This is Spinal Tap
    Hot Shots I & II
    Naked Gun Series
    Clue
    Slither
    Evolution
    Zombieland
    Not Another Teen Movie
    Addams Family I & II
    Shaun of the Dead

    Action

    Raiders of the Lost Ark
    Jurassic Park I & III
    Ronin
    The Ninth Gate
    The Edge
    Die Hard
    The Book of Eli
    Layer Cake
    High Plains Drifter

    Animated/Other

    Final Fantasy: Spirits Within
    Resident Evil: Degeneration
    The South Park Movie
    Team America: World Police

    Horror

    Dawn of the Dead (2004)
    Grindhouse: Planet Terror
    The Crazies (2010)
    Re-Animator
    Let the Right One In
    28 Days Later
    Halloween I, II, IV, & V
    Interview With the Vampire
    Evil Dead 2
    30 Days of Night
    Silence of the Lambs

    Comedies
Airplane and the Naked Gun series are funny as hell. So are some of the old Charlie Sheen parodies. However, I'm shocked and dismayed that you failed to include the funniest movie evah - "Blazing Saddles" (and a special mention to "Young Frankenstein"

ANNOUNCING a new FH smiley. Use it judiciously and selectively as to not diminish its impact!
