I'm not sure if it's the study or just the article, but this is incredibly vague.

I think it's the article, It just talks about some of the costs of the HC bill, and the fact that for each person this bill helps, three will get their premiums increased. That was the main thing I found interesting. I am trying to find the study itself....but so far have had no luck.

bottom line, we do nothing, don't we still get premiums raises?.. I mean this bill is not law and the insurance industry just raise the premiums in CA 39%...so we have to pick our poison because the premiums have gone up every year..either way, there's a increase..I'd rather the increase that covers more ppl..instead of the increase that cuts more ppl off the HC roles...

So what is the point of this bill? If it does nothing to lower HC costs, why the hell are we even thinking about passing this POS. I'm beginning to agree with SoS, this bill is nothing more than a power grab. Why aren't we making REAL change, instead of this BS? Bigger govt, higher costs, more deficit spending, and more taxes.

I think everyone knows and understands that health care costs are going to go up A. some and B. in the interim... this bill is about access and, I hope, a stepping stone in increasingly aggressive reform... this bill doesn't even really address health care itself... surely more is coming...

Access to what? Everyone in America, whether a lawful citizen or not, has access to HC. If all this bill is, is a stepping stone, it's a step off a ledge. I doubt this bill even gets passed, so I am not too concerned, if they had the votes, they would have passed it already. Too many Congressmen are up for re-election. If they want to continue, I suspect no amount of bribery will get them to cut their own throat.
