Ginn is gone....any KR/PR/PART TIME WR in this draft?

Well now Ted Ginn is gone and though we do not lose much in the receiver department we do lose a little something in the return game. I am not a fan of Bess returning punts he just does not have the explosiveness and KR i have no idea if we have anyone on the roster who can do that.

So is there someone in this draft you can see stepping in as our return specialist, maybe someone in the 4th 5th round area that could possibly see the field as a #5 wide-out from time to time?

Just someone who is a BURNER? and this time the coaching staff will know what they are getting THANK GOD

I could see us looking at...

Jacoby Ford out of Clamson or like a Trindon Holliday to just be a returner for us and play special teams.

    Thoughts? :earlyriser:

Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, and Jacoby Ford could be guys that Miami could use.

You can get a KR/PR late or even undrafted. I don't see Trindon Holliday getting drafted, I think he gets an invite to camp somewhere. The top 6 guys in terms of average per KR are:

    Clifton Smith 29.1 (undrafted)
    Johnny Knox 29.0 (5th rounder)
    Josh Cribbs 27.5 (undrafted)
    Percy Harvin 27.5 (1st rounder)
    Courtney Roby 27.5 (3rd rounder)
Stefan Logan 26.7 (undrafted - incidently he was here in 2007 and Cam Cameron never took him off the practice squad)

Of the 6, 3 of them were undrafted. The Dolphins have been looking pretty hard at returners so I'm sure they have some idea of who they want.

I posted this in another thread but rather than draft another WR (cause I don't see us carrying 6 WRs on the roster next year) we could kill two birds with one stone and get a CB to play the slot who has return ability. Someone like Walter Thurmond III who's projected to go in the 4th or 5th round. Don't forget we lost Nate Jones to Denver and he was mainly used to cover the slot.

Nate Jones was our leading tackler on special teams with 16

Started to really make a name for himself as a KR after returning his second kickoff for a TD. In 2008, he went 30-6-1 and also returned another kickoff for a TD, and added punt returning to his resume, returning three for a TD including the decisive points with one second remaining in a 38-31 win at Richmond with his punt return for a score. Scotty also ignited JMU’s rally from a 21-0 deficit with his 99-yard scoring return to open the second half vs. Appalachian State.
Deadly punt returner and kickoff returner who can come in and make many rosters with that skill set alone.
Both quick and fast. One of the top 3-4 return specialists available for the NFL draft.
5-6th rounder based on return ability. Free agent as a CB...combined probably a 7th rounder or priority UDFA.

Not a WR, get a small and fast back for change of pace and return guy.
