Luis Castillo may be joining Derrek Lee

In Chicago...heard it yesterday on the news. But on the bright side Lowell should be signed by the end of this week.

That's great news for us Cubs fans.

    2B-Castillo-S
    CF-Patterson-L
    RF-Sosa-R
    LF-Alou-R
    3B-Ramirez-R
    1B-Lee-R
    SS-Gonzalez-R
    C-Miller-R

We'd still be prodominantly right handed but Castillo would help. He would also give us speed at the top of the lineup that Grudzielanek wouldn't. Plus the Cubs are still working on getting another big bat for the lineup, either Tejada, Javy Lopez, or IRod, & some bullpen help. I love it when the Cubs spend some money.

Yes he signed with the Marlins, 3 years for $16 million. There's was never any real doubt he wouldn't. He was just trying to get some more scrap money and clauses in his contract with the Marlins by claiming other teams were going to give it to him.

    Thanks for the gossip though.
