In the NBA, doing it the "right way" for some apparently means gutting it out for a 3rd futile go-around with a front office that you've come to realize is inept and an owner who's a blathering idiot... BUT in the NFL, when it comes to sneaking into the playoffs despite your seasonal mediocrity, "doing it the right way" doesn't philosophically apply - or even get acknowledged. Go know
