that's what would have made it even more spectacular when he did win and he would have at some point. if he wins in Cle, even if it's only 2 or 3 I think a good argument could be made he's up there w/ Michael. Now he has no shot even if he wins 7 or 8.

    Please.

    Stop making everything about rings.

I loved what Tomlinson said about winning a ring or having a Hall of Fame career.

Take the Hall of Fame career easily. Rings doesn't make you great. A ring just means you played on a damn good team.

Dickey Simpkins has three rings. Charles Barkley has zero.

LeBron goes down as one of the five greatest NBA superstars with or without a ring. This league hasn't seen anything like him.

His size and athleticism combined with a complete game. It's incredible to watch. Jordan didn't have the complete game like LeBron does. Jordan is the greatest offensive player in league history. But LeBron is a better passer and a better rebounder and right there with Jordan defensively.

Tomlinson said that b/c he doesn't have one and you cannot compare 1 of 22 to 1 of 5 w/ the NFL to the NBA.

He'll go down as an all time great regardless but he's not going to get into the discussion of greatest of allt ime. lebron is a better passer than Michael, he's not close to the better offensive player and Jordan was a significantly better defender.

Jordan was not a "significantly" better defender. LeBron James is required to defend the opposition's best offensive player in crunch time and can defend all five positions on the floor. Name someone else who does that.

That alone sets LeBron in a class by himself. Jordan never did that because Jordan COULDN'T do that.

il go ahead and officially add junc as a heat hater, holy **** dude, you still wont let it go huh?. My god. He gave cleveland 7 hard years, honored his contract, brought excited to the city and economic boost but at some point you have to move on to bigger and better things, and that was too a dynasty in the making the miami heat. End of story.

How did he do against Dirk last year? how about Pierce 2 years ago? he wasn't guarding Howard 3 years ago or Duncan 5 years ago

How did Jordan do against Magic or Bird? How did Jordan do against Iverson?

Stars get their points. Dirk is gonna get his. Same for Pierce.

LeBron's defensive game was out of this world this year. He's grown defensively. Same thing happened to Jordan.

LeBron can't guard Howard or Bynum. They're about the only two in the league that LeBron really can't defend.

But he can defend everyone else. That's a tall order. Have to defend speedy point guards and low post big guys. He's able to do that because of his rare mix of size and speed.

The NBA has never seen a guy like LeBron James.

ohhh so that's where this goes, b/c thre qucikest guard in the league crossed him over once and it's a famous hbighlight as if Iverson wouldn't do that to lebron too.

I agree the NBA has never seen a guy like Lebron buit Michael was still the better player by far.

Hey LeBron "earned" it as he earned making it as far as 6 games into the ultimate series last season. No question the 2 best teams made the big dance. Compare that to the mediocre in-season 09 jest who if not for the kindness and charity of strangers, would have been sitting home munching tacos while watching the post season. Hell, playing 12 post season games to get into the finals in 06-07 with the personnel equivalent that compares unfavorably even to the 09 jest, Lebron with less managed to take his team further.

"Yep. Blow it up. This might the worst team I've ever seen constructed in my life.
And then you throw in the terrible preparation and in-game coaching. There is no defense.
But do it right. Fire everyone in the building. No survivors. , JiF Jetnation
