    My First Smartphone

So I finally got myself one. I have wanted one for quite some time so I ordered the new Iphone 4G. I have had it almost a week now and love it. You almost don't need a computer anymore.

So, which apps should I get that are must have? Free or otherwise.

Well I don't have a smart phone. But this story came out today.

Your smart phones are watching you — much more closely than you might like.

Lookout Inc., a mobile-phone security firm, scanned nearly 300,000 free applications for Apple Inc.'s iPhone and phones built around Google Inc.'s Android software. It found that many of them secretly pull sensitive data off and ship them off to third parties without notification.

The data can include full details about users' contacts, their pictures, and Internet and search histories. The third parties can include advertisers and companies that analyze data on users.
The information is used by companies to target ads and learn more about their users. The danger, though, is that the data become vulnerable to hacking and use in identity theft if the third party isn't careful about securing the information.

Congratulations ... And, welcome to the world of Internet junkies!

See, with the web in your pocket, FinHeaven is just a click away wherever you are. No longer will your spare time be spent doing anything else.

At the bar, stuck in traffic, forced to go to the in-laws, etc ...
    (trust me, it'll happen. )

Also, you realize that you're now carrying any type of perverse pornography you can think of at all times.

Not sure i'd call the iphone 4 a smartphone. A 'smartdevice' maybe - but it definitely isn't much of a phone.

    FAIL product.

Mine works fine. I don't know what all the fuss is about. Not any more dropped calls than I was used to with my Razr. Since I moved to NC with no mountains I hardly ever drop a call anyway.

I got a ton of junk emails today. I bet that is where they came from.

Doubtful I'll be at that one. I'm gonna do every Hurricanes game again this season. Home and away. I'll get a couple of Hurricane/Dolphin games back to back on the weekends but not many unfortunately.
