Our offensive line has looked shaky like this to begin the season every year since Joe Pendry retired. Make no mistake, they'll be dominant by the time SEC play begins just like they always are. Bottom line is we didn't look sharp at all.... and Virginia Tech hasn't been beaten this bad in a while. Their defense is good, and it's full of NFL prospects.... which is something some of these young and inexperienced kids on our offensive line haven't seen yet.

I'll be rooting for your guys when they face A&M. Manziel is a punk.
but when the trumpets blew again and the knights charged, the name they cried was "Stannis! Stannis! STANNIS!"

No doubt. Beamer's teams have seen better days I think his days at VA Tech are numbered for sure. You guys were lucky Logan Thomas was Logan Thomas. Saban will get it straightened out.
    Insert pithy saying here.

Can these teams play twice a year? Those games are fun as hell. Play once in Tuscaloosa (sp?) and in College Station.

**** Alabama Crimson Tide Thread ****

I went to bed at midnight (3d qtr) with Bama up 35-14. Once the emotional wave crested in the 1st, it was all Bama. TAMU must have had a nice comeback but fell short.

This is the worst group of CB's that I've seen at Alabama in many years. I'm telling you right now, Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham are the best 1-2 punch in the country at WR, and they'll be difficult for this ragtag bunch of Bama CB's to handle. Mettenberger is playing like a 1st round pick.

This LSU team is championship material. We'll be lucky to get by 'em this year.

We'll trade you all of our CBs that would start on your team (Watkins, Purifoy, Roberson, Hargreaves) for half of your offensive starters. Deal?

Jesus man. I would put our defense up against anyone in the country, but watching our offense is about as enjoyable as receiving a prostate exam from a cactus.
