The Official Tony Sparano Memorial Thread

What can I say about Tony Sparano. He took being a boob head coach to a whole new level. Chasing down refs to call timeouts after his team gets an interception. Calling timeout with 1 second left in the half, allowing a Saints team trailing by 3 possessions to punch it in for a TD as opposed to kicking a FG. Having a team never punt or turn the ball over the entire game, yet only score 23 points against a Colts team who we actually forced a couple of punts against beat us 27-23.

Tony Sparano's limitations as a game manager were obvious to most within the first 20 games. Yet so many loved this moron all the way up to the end. He was an OL coach who got promoted to a position way over his head. His decisions on the offensive line and the way it failed to improve makes most wonder if he is even a good OL coach.

Tony Sparano, the ultimate muppet. A pal of Parcells who was so lost it was ridiculous. His press conferences were nothing short of comedy gold. Listening to him speak made it obvious he wasnt the brightest man around. His lack of composure on the sidelines and the way he managed situations within the game supported that and thus the nickname Tony Morono fit like a glove.

Who can forget his windmill fist pumps. Tony's love of FG's gave football a new meaning. He coached ultra conservative, cheered his heart out, and gave the team all he had, which of course wasnt much.

Tony Sparano never had much to offer this team. Selecting him as HC will go down as one of the most head scratching moves in a long list of head scratching moves made by Bill Parcells as VP of football operations for a little more than 2 years for this team.

So offer up one final windmill fist pump in salute to Tony Sparano and tell us your favorite Tony moments and your memories of Tony Sparano as head coach of our beloved Miami Dolphins!

My favorite Tony moment will be when the team makes the official announcement he is fired.

Congratulations Morano...the Steelers have more wins at Sun Life Stadium in 2010 than you did.

No more premature than the early start to the ****Official Game Day Threads**** that pop up a day before the game. The game will eventually happen.

For some reason, I found this to be one of the funniest things I've read in awhile. The "windmill fistpump" had me rolling.

Amazing how things changes in just a few days. On Thursday Sparano was all but gone, but in the space of two days he has not only kept his job but received a two year extension!!!!!!
