    Sean Smith Era is over???

Am i the only one who thinks that the Sean smith era is over in Miami? i think that Jason Allen has been playing better then any CB in the NFL this season, he locked up that starting Cb position with 3 int on b farve one getting called back on him, also he almost had one to the house week one. I cant wait to see what j Allen does against the jets this week. besides, i think Sean smith will get better at playing nickel guarding slot receivers, i t will help him play the game at a faster pace guarding guys like Wes welker/Devon Bess etc.

Did you see him covering the TE late in the game? It's not over my friend.

In order to be an "Era" you have to play more then 18 games.

I think it's funny that your screen name is SeanSmith24 and you're calling for Sean Smith's "era" to be over.

I think J.Allen stepping up is the best thing to happen to Smith. He can now take a lesser role and keep improving. He had great coverage on the last play VS the Vikes.

Sean Smith held some tight coverage on Shiancoe which iced the game for us. He just needs more time to grow than we thought.

We are going to need Sean Smith even if it's not this year but for the future. Why do I say this if both Allen and Davis continue to look spectacular? Well because if Davis and Allen continue to play lights out then Both are going to want their contracts re-done and will demand some serious cash. Cam Wake is another guy who if he keeps up his level of play will need a new contract. The question is if these three players continue to look like some of the best at their position and all want to get paid in the offseason can the Phins afford to keep all three? Maybe they could but idk how any team can afford to pay a top LT, top WR, top MLB, two top CB's and a top pass rushing OLB. If they did keep them all and give them the money they will want you can probably say goodbye to Crowder, and anyone else that makes a good chunk of change but it still may not be enough. Now I know this is all speculation on my part and maybe these guys show some immortality throughout the season and don't demand new deals but I'm just saying.... it's a possibility.
