    Whats amazing to think about is that every single one of those dots is a galaxy just as big as our own. Our galaxy has billion (maybe trillions?) of stars. There are billions of galaxies. The sheer size of everything and how tiny we are in comparison is mind blowing.

    What I love, and don't get me wrong I am a scientific person through and through, is when some quack decides to calculate the weight of the Universe. LOL.

    What I love is how ppl think that because they can see light that is 13 billion light years away, it is clear evidence of the big bang.

    I agree, The sheer size of it all is awe inspiring......

    We are really just seeing the tip of the iceberg. I can't imagine why we don't expend more resources on the universe.
