Defensive Player of the Half-season:
While Patrick Chung and Jerrod Mayo have played very well to this point, I would find it hard to justify the defensive player of the half-season coming from one of the worst scoring defenses in the NFL. Perhaps a bit of a surprise in the early season, Miami OLB Cameron Wake
has made a big impact for the Dolphins' defense. An undrafted player, in just his second season, Wake is tied for fourth in the NFL with seven (7) sacks, and has helped make the job of the Miami secondary a bit easier.
