    If this regime naming Pennington its starter is any indication, look for some older, veteran names to be signed.

    Stinks, as I would love to see some young names with promise in there, but this team seems to do nothing I want them to.

    Chris Simms is probably the best choice, if his head is screwed on right. I would not mind Bouman and Colt Brennan.
    They should bring them all in and evaluate for next game usefulness and any long term(later in the season) potential.
    I would not be against making a trade for a quality back up QB if the price is right.(when is the trading deadline?)
    When stacked up against that list, Thigpen looks pretty good.

    Seeing as that passing for 10,000 yards in the Big-Ten was recently used as some of logic as to why Chad Henne is going to be a franchise quarterback for Miami, Brett Basanez is the clear answer here...
