The Official Chad Henne Appreciation Thread

Dumped on by some of the fan base, publically harrassed by a whiny immature beyotch wearing #19 and humiliated by a clueless head coach with one foot in the unemployment line and a fossil of a one-size fits all OC dinosaur who'd rather put his team in a bad position by blaming the power tool he's using instead of the out-of-code blueprint he's drawn up, Chad Henne stoically stands in there, never criticizes his porous line (hello Incognito and Carey), the playcalling or the drops like the good soldier he is. In the hindsight of a guy whose arm falls off at the drop of a stiff breeze and a "franchise 3rd string" bumbling QB, it's amazing that Henne can move the team down the field, surrounded by ineptitude to even put Carpenter into FG-making position. We got a glimpse of what Henne can do for a few glorious downs when The Fossil finally opened up the playbook. He has a long way to go yet, but he needs to get the kind of experience that capitalizes on his strengths in order to develop them - not this dink and dunk, play for FGs bullchit!

IMO there remains no doubt that ChadH is the best QB we've had since Dan right now, and with the most upside. Thank you Chad for putting up with all this crap for the sake of the team. Hopefully, your fellow alum, Ross, who's already bought into you preseason, will replace this clusterfork of coaching with a group that can nurture and develop your strong suits instead of trying to bang a square peg into a round hole.

ANNOUNCING a new FH smiley. Use it judiciously and selectively as to not diminish its impact!

When you see the old veteran go down after 3 plays and the 3rd string lay an egg . . . you tend to look a whole lot better, even to those that wanted your head. It's ok to come back to Chad Henne . . . I just hope with only 1 year left on that contract he even wants to be here after what he has been through.

And to the one's that are going to come in this thread and say draft a guy . . . there is no guarantee in that . . . and Henne is more than serviceable as a starter and with a better OC, he can become real good. Tonight brought back moments of 2007, only worse.

What exactly would Henne of done behind this line???

    They would've had 10 sacks.

It takes discipline to not formulate opinions about something WITHOUT KNOWING ALL THE FACTS.

I still don't think he's "good" on a realistic level still, but he's 100x better than anything we could field at QB right now. Thought Thigpen would be better, I was wrong. Henne, heal up. The season may be over, but I just can't watch an offense like that again.

vaark matty ice can play...he's a top 12 qb in the league imo...but yeah i agree...we should appreciate henne more cause if i was him i'd be laughing my *** off inside over what has transpired the last 10 days...what a ****ing circus

i kept thinking tonight sparano if you want to give yourself a chance to win hell to score some points put in henne but he didn't and hopefully that means he's locked up his ticket out of town...sparano that is

henne needs to play the season out and we need to get new front office blood in here...asap
hoops scoops 2012 season ..."in 2014 ryan tannehill etches his name in stone amongst the games elite qbs"..."ryan tannehill and andrew luck will carry the afc for the next decade plus the way peyton manning and tom brady have this last decade plus"

I firmly believe we would have won with henne under center...we sure as hell wouldn't have been shut out

I was begging for a field goal at least

Dan Henning could screw Dan Marino up.
This whole coaching staff has to go.....maybe Nolan can stay ...
Really...does any other team think..."hey,I want Tony Sparano and his gang of Keystone cops to
    coach my team?

Couldn't have led Miami to any fewer points than Thiggy did. Hmmm...maybe the problem isn't so much Henne.
