Miami Dolphins' Cameron Wake, with 9.5 sacks, is giving team its money's worth

DAVIE Channing Crowder's plan might be working.

Ever since training camp, he has been pumping up fellow linebacker Cameron Wake for the Pro Bowl.

Crowder calls himself Wake's "marketing manager."

"When you go to the Pro Bowl, all you need is press," Crowder said. "He's leading in sacks, but you got to vocally amp it up, get people looking at him."

Getting Wake to the Pro Bowl is only Phase I of Crowder's plan.

Zach Thomas: I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them.

"Every sack I get is another opportunity for us to get off the field and get the ball back, and that's it,"
He's the best player Miami has on either side of the ball IMO and is a 100% team player, there's just nothing to dislike about Wake.

No, Crowder, getting to the pro bowl isn't just press. Wake's going because he's a hell of a lot better than you are. Jeezus, that guy.

One thing Crowder is good at is running his mouth maybe he should retire and join a PR firm.

Crowder managing another player on how to get to the Pro Bowl? Crowder can't even manage to get himself a sack every now and then, let alone the Pro Bowl. The fact that Wake is already a pro bowl caliber player in his second season with us is just awesome.

Actually Crowder had a sack negated by a false start on Thursday. Kinda shocked he got there....LOL.
    Andrew Luck VS New England

0-3 with 6 TD's and 8 picks. Not sure "Suck for Luck" helps in our division. Maybe we stop the "meaningless wins" talk.
