    45 Passes, 17 runs against 32nd ranked Run D

That says it all. 10 rushes for Ronnie Brown. 7 rushes for Ricky Williams. Are you ****ing kidding me...

You let Henne throw the ball 45 times? People say we don't have a run game...that's because WE DON'T call running plays.

Bills have the 8th pass D and 32nd Run D. And they never stuck to the run to begin with. Forget about re-signing Ronnie, if I were him I'd shun the Dolphins and be gone if this coaching staff comes back. They don't give him the ball.

I'm sorry Finheaven posters... I'm just letting off some steam... This is becoming a familiar theme with the Dolphins.. I just get frustrated with the same outcome year after year....

I was thinking the same thing yesterday, here is a bad run defense, it seemed to fit us to a tee, and yet once again the playcalling was atrociuous.

Sparano is responsible to give his OC direction on gameplanning, so he must accept responsibility.
    WVDolphan:

    "
Fiedler did not have the arm strength of Tannehill, but overall he was a much better QB."

Attack the Person, Not the Ideas:

Attack the person in some way. For example:
    • Attack their expertise, questioning their qualifications or experience
    • Comment on their inability to make a good argument
    • Attach them to discredited others

    Example

You are not qualified to make such a statement.
You would say that, wouldn't you.
And who do you think is going to believe you.

Attacking the Person is a form of distraction, forcing them into defense and away from their argument.

This has happened before too. Do they play to the weaknesses of their opponent? Hell no. I don't even think they scout who they play

Yup, I agree whole hardily. I was thinking about how to fix this team and I think we need a "road grading" full back and a complinary scat back. draft OL depth and pound. Early 70's all over and Henne throw 7 to 14 times a game. Larry Czonka, where r u?

Who knows what pressure Saprano is under from the owner? I can't believe its all on Henney.

I am usually a "give the benefit of the doubt to the coach" type of guy. But Sparano has showed me NOTHING in 3 years. Time to go.

I am slightly older than you are only to say that I watched football since 1968
and the NFL has changed over the years to a pass first league due to rule changes.

Look at the top teams in the NFL today passing yardage is double or more than rushing yardage and touchdowns are one sided for the most part on top teams

New England has 31 passing tds versus 17 rushing tds
San Diego has 29 passing tds versus 14 rushing tds
Colts have 28 passing tds versus 12 rushing tds
Giants have 26 passing tds versus 16 rushing tds
Atlanta has 25 passing tds versus 13 rushing tds
Saints have 31 passing tds versus 8 rushing tds

Even bad teams have a pass first offensive philosophy
Dallas has 26 passing tds versus 9 rushing tds
Detroit has 23 passing tds versus 9 rushing tds
Buffalo has 24 passing tds versus 6 rushing tds

    Now with our offense
15 passing tds versus 6 rushing tds
31st in the NFL IN TOUCHDOWNS SCORED
32 IN THE NFL IN RUSHING TOUCHDOWNS SCORED

The answer is to find an offensive philosophy built around a capable QB
that offensive philosophy has to take advantage of the passing advantages
available today that were not available in the early 70s and beyond

I think this offense has to be rebuilt from the ground on up to 2010 standards
where the pass/and playmakers should be a priority

This after our coaching staff comes out and declares "were going to pound the rock and play defense!" Our supposed team mentality. It truly boggles my mind. The one game we actually do that and run it twice as much as throwing? The damn Vikings who have had the second ranked run defense for 4 year in a row(one year they were first in run defense). Are you kidding me?

Then again, at one point our coaching staff believed in accountability, and now they are pointing the finger whenever they can at the players. It's bad enough our formations are so vanilla that opponents are calling out routes before the play. Its bad enough that our QB isn't allowed to audible at the line. Its bad enough that our probowl wide receiver isnt asked to run deep routes. But to add on top of that the fact you refuse to adjust your gameplan against upcoming opponents? This staff couldnt make a worse strategy for losing if they tried.

I'm not surprised at all.. before the game I kept saying "Watch us throw it everywhere against this 32nd ranked run D"

..Wasn't supposed to actually come true though
