Mel Kiper Jr.: Dolphins should draft Heisman winning RB Mark Ingram

Wednesday on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. said the Miami Dolphins should draft 2009 Heisman Trophy award winner Mark Ingram from the University of Alabama.

The Dolphins will have the 15th pick in the NFL Draft.

Ingram rushed for 875 yards and 13 touchdowns this past season while splitting carries with Trent Richardson. He missed the first two games of the season because of a knee injury.

Draft section... But he does look like a decent RB... Like a superman version of Drew-jones

Pat Riley for GM of all sports in Miami. Imagine that.

We need a QB, and I would love for this team to have the cajones to trade up for one for once.

That said, RB is certainly an area we need to get younger at. 15th isn't too early for the #1 running back on the board.

If we don't draft a QB in the first round because there are none worth it I would want us to trade back for a second round if that's possible and instead of drafting Ingram go for Ryan Williams from VT. IMO Ryan is a better back and will be in the NFL. To a certain degree I feel Ingram was who he was because of that huge OL. Just look at Richardson. Ryan put up very close numbers and VT OL is nothing compared to Alabama's. Plus I think Ryan is faster and more explosive!

    LOL thanks Kiper.

    1. Arian Foster, 2. Jamaal Charles, 3. Michael turner, 4. Chris Johnson, 5.MJD

One 1st rounder in that group. A 5th rounder, a 7th rounder, and the league leader was undrafted. Other current low-round picks/undrafted RBs include: Bradshaw, Hillis, Gree-Ellis, Blount, Fred Jackson, Frank Gore.

I would take him at 15 unless we trade down and pick up a 2nd round pick to make up for the one we gave to denver in the marshall trade last year.

---Thanks DisturbedShifty for the awesome sig!!!
