Barry Jackson: Fins WILL consider Vince Young, Young discusses Dolphins with friends

ē Although our panel didnít endorse Young, there are NFL personnel people who like him and the Dolphins will consider him. Young and his friends discussed speculation about him coming to the Dolphins while snacking on Lil Big Macs at STK Miami last week.

Felt like this deserved a thread of its own.

It's time to be successful Coach Philbin. Have you decided what you should master yet? It's time to step up Mr. Tannehill, you're starting year three too.

He is definitely an upgrade from Henne. I would also like to see them draft a quarterback to compete with the two of them and may the best man win.

I would check with Denver first to see what they want for Orton. I would take Young as a fall back plan, after exploring Orton and a first round draft pick.

According to most posters they have inside info that he isn't coming here because he's too busy having a mental breakdown.

Yeah, Orton and Young have to be at the top of the list. And this is probably the biggest free agency move. Henne is our backup. We have to feel good about going to him if we have to from the bench. We need to get a starter in free agency at QB. I would give up a 2nd round pick in 2012 for Orton. If Young seems better in interviews, and comes without the draft pick, so be it.
Show me the playoffs. No excuses!

For the love of god no. I want to find some that can be the long term solution for us. Not someone who is not stable enough to beat out kerry collins.

If the Dolphins pick up Young, They go from being a stupid organization, to just plain out pathetic in my book. I rather pick up mcnabb or Orton. Not this hysterical cry baby scrub. We need to draft our own QB, not pick up someone elses Trash
