Naturally, the buzz was all about Boise.

During Tuesday morning's conference-call with the coaches in the Mountain West, no coach escaped without the requisite "what-does-Boise-State-bring-to-the-league" question.

The answers, were as expected. The Broncos bring national prominence, a Heisman Trophy finalist in quarterback Kellen Moore and that darn blue turf.

"I think they ought to get rid of that blue turf," said San Diego State head coach Rocky Long with a laugh, though probably more serious than joking. "... I think the visiting team takes a quarter to get used to that turf."
