I watched the first episode because of the good actors starring in it. A little disappointed but I would give it another look before passing final judgement.
What did you think of the show Ben ?

I missed the first one but will record it this Thursday. I read all the books.

I'm thinking it would be hard to follow if you hadn't read the books.

It seems like another "inside the dome" show patterned after that old Twilight zone one where the aliens took a small town to their planet to experiment with only no aliens so far

That's a good guess, but you'll be surprised when you learn what is really happening.

That's the feeling I got from it and I really liked the old twilight zone (still do and its' on netflix now). I'll probably watch it some more to see how it plays out and mainly because there ain't squat on tv worth watching right now.

Agree with that. Usually there are a show or two you cann't wait to see the next episode. Can not think of one.
Same goes for cable which i think you dropped. Better call Saul was good but really not much else and the cost is rediculous. The only one we still have is HBO. Never got into "the walking dead"

True detectives is next month i think. That should be good.

Just got a chance to watch the first 2. They follow the first book pretty well which I thought would be difficult...Overall I like it.

Watched first two episodes. Great cast and really intriguing. lots of things make no sense at this point but kind of like that part.
