Matt Moore the backup plan to Orton?

    • The Dolphins, awaiting resolution on their pursuit of Denver’s Kyle Orton, have been in contact with Carolina free agent quarterback Matt Moore. … Miami is among the teams that inquired about 49ers free agent linebacker Manny Lawson. … The Dolphins had not re-signed any of their seven remaining unrestricted free agents besides Tony McDaniel as of Thursday night, though they told offensive lineman Pat McQuistan that they have interest in keeping him. … With so much uncertainty at quarterback and overall changes, the Dolphins know other teams will enter camp ahead of them offensively. “This doesn’t work to our advantage, having a new coordinator and having to learn a new system,” Bess said. But Brian Hartline said: “We’re professionals. We know how to install an offense.”

Wouldn't mind him if there's no way we can get Orton. He would at least challenge for the starting spot and he wouldn't cost a draft pick.

Thats kind of like having santonio holmes as your main target and having derek hagan as your backup plan. Im not opposed at signing a Moore but thats not a real backup plan.
When death smiles upon you, the Infantry man smiles back. WV says Im not a patriot and Jeff Ireland is a Boss so it must be true.

At some point, it just becomes pretty funny. Can you imagine?

It's Week 17, you just watched the Dolphins go through the most embarrassing performance since 62-7. The Patriots players are whooping and hollering and playing exciting football in what amounts to a totally MEANINGLESS game, while the Dolphins players just look downtrodden and like they've given up. The team is now 7-9.

The guy next to you says "Buck up! I can see the future! The Browns are going to fire their offensive coordinator and the Dolphins will hire him. The Saints are going to swap out Reggie Bush for Darren Sproles, leaving Reggie to Miami, and then to top it off, the Dolphins are going to get Matt Moore to compete with Chad Henne! Things are looking up!"

Would you punch him? I would. Would you?

I don't think that would solve the problem.

Give it up for the 3 time defending FL class 5A State Champions (2004-2005-2006) and Two time Defending National Champion (2005-2006) and a FL State record for most Reg season wins in a row (60) the Lakeland Dreadnaughts..
