The Miami Dolphins have poached offensive lineman Will Barker
from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad, and signed him to the teamí 53-man roster on Tuesday evening.
Barker was claimed Tuesday morning and passed his physical in the afternoon, consummating a two-year deal that will at least keep him around for a month because poached practice squad members must remain on the teamís 53-man roster for at least three weeks.
Barker, who is 6-foot-7, 325 pounds, can play both tackle and guard, but has primarily worked on the right side of the offensive line. That happens to be the area the Dolphins need the most help with because of Marc Colomboís struggles.
