Dansby sees God working through Tebow

Let's get Tebow. The Cowboys maybe America's team, but we can be God's team.
But I respect the opinions of those who believe otherwise. And Dolphins linebacker Karlos Dansby believes that God is working through Tim Tebow.
Dansby, whose Dolphins were the first victims of Tebowmania, told Jim Rome today that he and other members of the team saw Godliness in Tebow’s stunning comeback from a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter.
“Us losing to Tim Tebow the way we did, we seen it first hand,” Dansby said on Rome’s radio show. “Young man is blessed. Young man has a special anointing on him. And for God to show himself in that game the way He did, through the guy He did it through, it opened a lot of guys’ eyes on our team. And it brought a lot of guys closer to God, so like I said, everything happens for a reason. . . . My hat goes off to Tim. And God working through him like that, it opened up a lot of eyes. He’s a blessed young man and I wish him much success the rest of his career.”
If guys truly believe that, Tebow will be a magnet for certain free agents. If they believe God is working through Tebow and if that means God will be helping his team win games, why wouldn’t they want to play with Tebow?

"It happens all the time," Taylor said. "It's not an exact science and personnel guys aren't the end-all, be-all. " Jason Taylor,2011

Isn't it enough that I slam the door shut on Jehovah's Witnesses, tell those Mormon kid missionaries in white short sleeve shirts on bikes that I'm a devotee of Anton LeVay and inform the Lubavitch welcome wagon that I eat pork rinds? Sheesh, are you suggesting that I now need to shut my TV off anytime Tebow gets face time summoning up his best Billy Graham?

Thanks but no thanks. Find me a great heathen QB.

Cant say I disagree with some type of divine intervention going on here. Would be quite ironic, when it is all said and done, that Tebow ends his career as a HOF'er - that would definitely take divine intervention.
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

Nothing borderline about it. Thats full blown nuts.

Whatever anyones opinion about the existence of God, its an observable fact that he does not supernaturally intervene and save many devoted followers that are facing starvation and death. But he cares enough about a football game to bless a millionaire with victory supernaturally? Yeah, OK Dansby.

This should be an interesting thread.
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.
