I Can Dream 3 smoke screen?

I just read somewhere that Carl Peterson tried to get Gruden too. What if this is a smoke screen and Peterson is interviewing these big name coaches just for show while Ireland is doing the real dirty work and getting us our "young don shula"?

What is Peterson is interviewing coaches because Ross does not want him in the room in case a viable candidate expresses a severe disdane for working with Ireland?

The term "smoke-screen" should only be overused during the draft.

I think those are still safe, unless they're just ploys for the real wild-goose chase.

Our "young" Don Shula is going to be 53/57 something if it's Billick or Fisher.
