    What's Cookin For Super Sunday?

Other than a truckload of beer, what's everyone planning for this Super Bowl Party? Any other beverages to suggest?

Then there's the food, which allos us to drink more beer. Some try to go with different foods from the cities in the game. There's the Maryland crab cakes, and San Fran being known for Chinese as well as some sea food. I took a quick look to see where San Fran supposedly came up with green goddess salad dressing, fortune cookies, Irish coffee, and rice-a roni.

Then there's always the traditional wings, pizza, burgers, and the like. I remember last year when NFL former players came up with their recipes for the game, including Marino. I'll look his up to post later.

Bottom line, what are you planning?

*** I added "Dan The Man" so this would not be considered off topic. LOL

I´ll throw in my recipe for chicken wings: fry them as you like. Then, place a little bit of Teriyaki sauce in a bowl. Move e´m around. Then top them with choppped cilantro, crispy garlic (slice it thinly, then fry it for 20 secs), grated lemon rind, and chopped jalapeño peppers!! You´ll get mugged by your guests...

Thanks Tico, combining Greece and Mexico sounds great. Gonna give it a try.

My family is having grilled burgers, b. beans, hot dogs, alot of appetizers, and adult beverages a plenty for those there over 21.

"So I throw it up there?" "No! See that guy Wallace deep in the endzone? Him!"

Here's "Chef Dan The Man's" recipe from last year. Marino said the sauce is so good that you can forget the pasta, and just use a spoon. Tried it, and he was right.

Care to let us know what's in it or, is it one of those "super secret family recipes" where you can tell someone but, have to kill them?

Roast Pork. Yellow rice. Black beans. Plantains. Garlic bread. And a big grab of tossed salad greens lightly dressed with olive oil and red wine vinegar, fresh grated Parmesan, salt and pepper. Plenty beer and liquor.

Sure thing...but Teriyaki is a japanese sauce, made with brown sugar, soy, vinegar, and onions, garlic, and ginger. It´s sticky, tangy and sweet, you must have confused it with "Tzatziki", the greek yogurt-based sauce (could actually work for dipping a wing once it´s finished, since it´s cool and refreshing). Enjoy!!

Mojo marinated pork is fabulous. A few years ago I got a small whole pig cooked by a Cuban baker. It was unbelievably great, and after friends (who never had it before) got done with their doggie bags, there was nothing left.
