    new coaching candidate

hue jackson is someone to keep an eye on. he's a good coach, and he wasnt given a good opportunity to actually build that team. he did alot with a little. he has to be in consideration.

I like the idea. I mean along with the al davis pasing everyone mentions he had to go 9 games without his best player. Yes bush stepped in and did well, but the duo would have been much better. similarly, the receiving corp was taking turns being injured. I think hes worth an interview at the very least.

I basically like him and think we could do a helluva lot worse (and just might). However, there are some red flags like his imperious demeanor, his past ability to control most everything (and as a fledgling HC, where does he really qualify to do so?) which I think would create conflict and buttheads with Ireland and maybe Peterson. He's a gamer, handles himself confidently, has done a good job with Oakland aside from the troublesome Palmer over trade, but he well could have control issues transcending what's appropriate for the job expected of him. However, I'd take a very serious look at him if possible especially now that he's got a chip on his shoulder for being screwed over and has something to prove.

"Yep. Blow it up. This might the worst team I've ever seen constructed in my life.
And then you throw in the terrible preparation and in-game coaching. There is no defense.
But do it right. Fire everyone in the building. No survivors. , JiF Jetnation

He's a loudmouth with a huge ego who alienates his players, and blames them for everything. His team was completely undisciplined and out of control. No thanks.

Not too mention what he agreed to give up for Carson Palmer.

I like him, but he needs to keep a lid on his press conferences.
