... Wouldn't be opposed to that at all. Is it realistic at this point though? Probably not.

Bottom Line: so far in this coaches search Ireland has served us well if he's prevented Ross directly or indirectly from hiring a mediocre coach with 6 out of 17 winning seasons, a cloud of dust run first philosophy and performance over the last 2 seasons that rivaled Tony's. Just sayin

Nice, but not gonna happen. =( Cowher says he doesn't have that 100% drive to be all in coaching right now.

I wonder how much of Cowhers success was the genius of Dick LeBeau.

Cowher was asked by at least three teams about returning to coaching and he said no. Get over the trying to blaming Ireland for your misery.

    I don't want Cowher.

He doesn't want to coach here or he'd already be here.

I want guys who don't need to be coerced, or are siting until the axe falls on their favorite spot.

I want a guy who will make Miami his primary destination. Period.

    Stop playing Madden already.

I realize the obsession with Cowher but I do not want to overpay a coach that really doesn't want to put the time in you need to be successful in this league. If money is the motivating factor then we'd be in for another 3/4 years of disappointment.

Zimmer, Philbin, McCoy, Toub, and Carmicheal would all do it for the chance to be successful...that's the route I want to take.
