Baffles me. This is the biggest no brainer of no brainers. Whats the risk? We sign Peyton, draft a qb in the second rd, and keep Moore. Worst comes to worst, we have the greatest qb coach of all time tutoring and helping to groom our rookie qb pick. Best case: Peyton gets 3-4 years to help tutor a young drafted qb while leading us to 3-4 deep playoff runs.
3-4 solid years?????? 4 years from now he's 40!! Come on man

Brett Favre was in the NFC Championship game at 40, a year after our 2008 game against the Jets when he was hurt and limped off the field.

I'd say only 3 years if he stays healthy, but today's NFL makes QB's last longer. Tom Brady is only 1 year younger than Manning, and I believe he said he wants to play to 40.
    Let's Go Dolphins!!
