Interesting Peyton Manning throwing like a "late career Chad Pennington"

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...arterback-yet/

This is where we are in February with Peyton Manning. He can play again, but he may only be able to play like a late career Chad Pennington. Kravitz used the phrase “noodle arm” to describe Manning’s throwing. No one knows how much that will change by August.
Would you still want Manning if he has a "noodle arm"?

I think Manning will retire if he believes he can't perform at a high level.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

I highly doubt he has a noodle arm, his nerve is constantly healing.

It won't be like that come August.

He still hasn't even gained his full arm strength yet, and we're going to start calling him noodle arm?

First of all Manning never had a strong arm to begin with, he had an accurate arm. Second, everyone was saying the same **** about Brees when he had the rotator cuff injury and right now he has a stronger arm than he did when he was in the Chargers.

    This describes that whole article:

“I think people are starting to sway over to Jim Irsay’s side on this,” Kravitz said.
    Really?

If he plays like a late career Chad Pennington, then we shall do well. Possibly go all the way this time, being that he will be surrounded by better players than Pennington was.

Did Pennington ever have the same arm strength as Manning? If not, it isn't a comparable situation.

What did he make it through, two plays his last year? Everybody has Peyton coming to the fins and being just like he used to be when it actuality noone knows. Let it play itself out.

But that is what the author is saying. His arm strength now, because of the nerve damage, is the same as Pennington's arm strength at the end of his career. It doesn't matter what Manning's arm strength used to be, it only matters what it is now.
