Actually, the starting OL for 2012 that I'd prefer is...
LT Long LG Jerry C Pouncey RG Zeitler RT Garner
Zeitler being drafted in the 3rd Round from Wisconsin.
1 Z. Martin OL Notre Dame 2 Bucannon SS Wash St 3 Sankey RB Washington 4 Reid DT Princeton 5 Gilmore TE Colo St 6 Ikard C/G Oklahoma 7 Huff DB Wyoming
This line has some potential:
Long / InCog / Pouncey/ DeCastro / Murtha
Top backs ups are
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious
sorry, we cannot sit on jerry and murtha. Murtha had serious injury and never really proved himself in a meaningful way.
and jerry? sorry, i watched the jets game last night, he really was not all that great. Moore made a lot of plays running around. jerry was not playing for half the season and was out of shape.
sorry, i dont want any of my quarterbacks, whoever they are banking on this bunch again.
It would be awesome to get Nicks ( i think he will stay in NO) and Decastro. That line would be sick but would add another Tackle in this draft and wouldnt be surprised if we get a guy late in the draft who is a sleeper.
FA: Eugene Monroe, Zach Strief, Brent Grimes, Nolan Carroll, Chris Clemmons
1. Zach Martin OG/OT
2. Bishop Sankey RB
3. Donte Moncrief WR
4. Cauron Reid DT
5. Chris Watt OG
6. Crockett Gilmore TE
Trade down if possible and still get your guy
