fellas...for the 100th time drew brees is goin nowhere...he's just gonna leverage the saints into a massive long term contract

absolutely no chance the saints let that guy get away...new orleans would riot in the streets

    lol, funny thread. Not happening.
The quarterbacks clap and Philbin rises. "I have to leave on a high note," he says, "like George Costanza."

Brees has already stated he is not leaving the saints, unfortunately for him he has already shown his hand to them

there's about a .000001% chance of Brees coming to Miami...with the .000001 basically being a miracle.

Hey, I gotta hold out for a little hope.
I just try to be myself, whatever that is. I don't think about how I'll be remembered. I just want to be consistent over a long period of time. That's what the great players do.

Sorry for the typo on the name didn't realize we had so many grammar scholars in here, I could've sworn this was a football forum. The likelyhood that he comes here is extremely slim I know but does that mean you don't at least try. Drive the price up higher, leaves them with less cap space to sign Nicks or Colston and takes away there ability to franchise these players as well.

And for the people saying he would never leave New Orleans, I'm sure every NFL player is watching how the Colts are treating one of the greatest players in the game. Now more than ever is it apparent that loyalty doesn't pay bills. Throw a ridiculous offer that he can't refuse and see if the Saints pony up to match it if not then sacrifice the pick. If they do match give them less cap space to re-sign Carl Nicks which could be an option at guard. Let the bashing commence!
    There isn't a 0% chance Brees isn't a Saint this year
