No need to have a coin flip party with friends or take a day off of work for this. This is not televised, because honestly no one really cares about the flip itself, just about the final result. Mel Kiper isn't reviewing tape of the coin's 40 or how high the NFL representative can flip the coin. There is no weather report to see how it might have an impact on the coin in the air.
I know you are just joking, but I am sure there are some that will take your questions as being serious.
It was actually kinda serious because of the vBookie evenet that I started. If the Dolphins call say heads in the air and that's the winner, then that option pays out. So what if it isn't a heads/tails coin but rather an AFC/NFC coin. I guess we'll just default AFC to heads. And I hope the results of this coin flip is posted somewhere online.
The system does appear to have its flaws, but it also has its benefits. Honestly though, head to head should be the first tiebreaker, not SOS. However, since the system worked in Miami's favor this year, I won't complain to much.
