I am actually hoping that Car wins the toss as picking 8th or 9th is no big difference to ourselves except in a trade-up scenario. It is more important in the fact that the flip also affects the other rounds, esp. the 2nd round. In the 2nd round, the team that wins the flip actually picks after the loser of the flip and after the Bills. If we win the flip and fall behind the Bills in the 2nd, we could lose out on a chance at Fleener or another field stretching TE as the Bills need one as well. By losing the flip we'd pick 9th and then ahead of Car and Buffalo in the 2nd.
Time for the 'Phins of the future to play like the 'Phins of the past. Bring it on.

It is a good point. Especially since CAR won't be targeting the players we'd be targeting.

Unless something ridiculous happens on draft day (eg/ Blackmon somehow dropping to 8th) then it may well be that losing the toss could turn out to be better.

If you don't root for Miami to win the coin toss you're not a real fan!

What is the point of all these meaningless coin flip wins? If we want to be a champion coin flipper we need to keep losing. Everyone knows that the only way to win is to keep losing as long as possible. Losses = automatic future wins. We need to stop being a mediocre coin flip team.

Some of you might be happy to be a year in a year out quarter flipping team, but some of us want to get back to flipping Sacagaweas.

Losses do equal future wins. Unfortunately we didn't have enough losses this season.

    Therefore, we're flipping quarters.

Ask the Rams how that has worked out the past five years......

If by future wins you mean 10-15 years down the road, then maybe you are on to something.

Losses equal future wins when a guy like Andrew Luck is coming out.

That's the kind of kid you throw a season for.

6 wins. Perfect. And you guys had so much hope. Adorable.

Hate to break it to you, but the Colts are not getting handed the Vince Lombardi Trophy on draft day. Luck might not never win a Super Bowl or is not guaranteed to even be in the league five years down the road. There is no such thing as a sure thing. Maybe he is the next John Elway or Peyton Manning. Or perhaps he is the next Ryan Leaf, no guarantees. You never throw a season.

Luck a guaranteed superstar? Adorable that you think that is guaranteed.

So losing equals winning? You're not a ***** just accurately wrong.

You are so Goddamn mad right now lol.

    Never said guaranteed.

But he's worth every chance you've ever taken in this league whether he flops or not.

QB is the hardest spot to hit on and when you get the chance to hit big you take it. You take your risks. And that's how you get to be successful in life and everything else. No one ever got successful playing scared.

Accurately wrong? Pretty accurate with that 5-11 prediction wasn't I? Everyone thought I was crazy. I know what I'm talking about year in and year out. I know it rubs you the wrong way but it shouldn't.

If you are "throwing" a season, you better hope what you are getting is guaranteed. That is like me saying I am going to suck at my job, because my next job might be gold. Why waste my talents to get something that might end up sucking? Better to work hard and and make the present count then count on a flimsy future option.

Since when is 5-11 accurate? The team went 6-10, that is like if I had a lottery ticket and every number was off by one. I was close, do you think they would give me the money? lol. I guess you and I have different definitions of the word accurate. What you say doesn't rub me the wrong way, not at all. Comes across more like humor.
