Buh......buh....buh.... four playoff wins, blah, blah blah!!!

This is HIS OWN GM talking about him. But some people here claim the Jets to be "set at qb for years". He's never had even a decent season. People can talk about his post season all they want but reality is his only game worth writing home about was against NE.

This is his last season to prove anything. If he continues his trend these last three seasons he will be out as a Jets qb despite what some "experts" here claim.

exactly- even jest fans know this guy is soft. just read their post on other sites. there is a small minority of jizz swallowing sanchez fans who actually think this guy is any good. i think one of them post of this forum.

I do think with a better running game and more mentoring he can still maybe end up being a serviceable QB - at least keeping the seat warm, but realistically with the return of the same QB coach and the addition of Tony running the offensive show, the odds are stacked against even that happening.

That is groundbreaking news, I thought his play especially late in the year showed tremendous growth

We all know he took a step back despite better #s across the board, a year ago he had lesser #s and was much better than the #s indicated. I'm hoping at the very least he is as good as he was in 2010, if we can get him more consistent and as good as '10 we'll be in great shape.

Sanchez is gun shy. They have the kid so worried about ****ing up that he is ****ing up. I love how every NFL team says "I want a gunslinger at QB" then says "we need someone to manage the offense".

Well what do you want, a Gunslinger or Manager? The odds at getting both are astronomical and gunslingers turn the ball over they just do. Brady is your best example of the best of both worlds and nothing about Brady is normal, from where he was drafted to the numbers and the accuracy, on and on.

Favre, Marino, Manning(s), Elway, Fouts, Moon etc...all threw their fair share of picks. Comes with the territory, hell even if Brady plays 5 more seasons he ends up around 170 picks.

If they want Sanchez to throw then let the kid throw. If they want a game manager then stop bitching about the kid not throwing.
