I dont mind that we let go of Bell. I would rather realease a player one year early than one year late.

I think BB will use him much like he used Rodney Harrison.
Identify the 4 positions of strength in the draft, then double up on each........ if possible

Tailor Free Agency accordingly, so that your need is these 4 strengths

    2014 draft - RB - WR - OT - OG

    1-Carlos Hyde RB Ohio St.
    2-Marcus Martin OG/C USC
    3-Donte Moncrief WR Mississippi
    4-David Yankey OG Stanford
    5-Seantrel Henderson OT Miami
    6-Laurent Duvernay-Tardif OT McGill
7-Jeff Janis WR Saginaw Valley St.

I realize Bell was going to be expensive and he was the cover guy we probably need, but if we cut him and then he signs for the vet min at NYJ or Pats, I'm not going to be happy. He could still play a limited role with us if he came back at a reasonable rate.

    You got meat-head now though.

    He thinks Bell can cover.

Well, give Bell a call when you decide you don't need the "cover" part of that.

Of course. It seems that 90% of our former players end up on the Pats or Jets
