Anyone ever had this done? I heard to get the glass UV protected to protect the autograph? Any suggestion or any knowledge on how much something like this cost?
I would dig around on the web and see if you can find a ready made frame for it. Try Amazon or eBay. Also, take it to a local hobby shop that does framing. They can probably get it done for you no problem.
It's expensive as **** to do.

Don't let them sell you on an expensive UV filter, most of the UV is filter by the glass anyways. If anything add a real light window tint if you want to filter more of the UV but 70% (thickness dependent) should be filter anyway. Plus, are you going to hang this outside in the sunlight? no lol. Your Jersey shouldn't get the direct blunt of the sun if it is hanging in a man cave somewhere so I would skip the UV treatment.
Like several others have said to have a professional framed Jersey it is going to run ya about $200 unless you do it yourself.

I went down this road a couple of years ago (signed Marino & Zach jerseys) ...
I built my own frames using molding and I ordered the glass to be cut to specs from a local supplier. It ended up costing me about $75.00 total. They looked nice initially, but apparantly I'm no carpenter because the damned things fell apart on me after about 18 months.
My next stop was e-bay. I bought these two for $90.00 and couldn't be happier with them.
I'll try to remember to take pics of the finished products when I get home today.
