florence release is a shocker to me.

out of all the gb's in the division that brandon marshall had a problem with it was florence. florence just owned him. man on man, zone, bump, run, hoky-poky, didnt matter. he just was all over BM.

must be something up. salary? injury? because the guy absolutely DIDNT suck. unless he has an injury, he would IMEDIATELY put sean smith on the bench [where he belongs].

we have ONE good starter in vontae and our depth is awful. i would love to see florence here for a couple years or so.

They brought him back at 4 mil for a reason. Granted, he had an off year last year and didn't earn his keep, but prior to last year he was known to be one of the best, if not the best nickel cb's in the league.

If he is available at a low price then signing him would be a no brainer IMO. CB's get injured.

The only problem I see would be if this is the year that things start to click for Vince Agnew. If he is looking like he is starting to figure out the NFL game it would be nice to keep him on the roster. He may be the best pure athlete in camp this year. I would like to see him and Clyde Gates race.

Opposing QB's had a QB rating of 103 throwing at Florence last season. No matter how you try and spin that, thats terrible. No thanks. Let him go back to S.D. and get toasted every Sunday there
