Player Julius Pruitt Squats Over 600 lbs./Categorizing WR's

    http://www.daytondailynews.com/blogs...us_pruitt.html

I read in Armando's blog that Pruitt has been looking good this offseason.

He seems to have all the stuff.

Could he be a dark horse??

What kind of WR is he??? A possesion guy?

Who is he in direct competition with to play that kind of role??? Wallace, BJ Cunningham,Naanee, Matthews ??

The receiver spots are going to be just super overloaded with RB and TE positions taking snaps away from WR's as well. Everybody knows we are going to throw to Reggie a lot; maybe even as much as the #3 WR. I have even heard it speculated that if Reggie Bush stays healthy he could be the Dolphins leading receiver this year. I saw it reported today that Lamar Miller could be used in the slot as well. It is also being speculated that Clay and Egnew will lining up in WR spots as well.

I think I have to agree with the guys who are saying that this offense doesn't need a single prime target at WR; a so called, go to guy. IMO, the Dolphins are looking filthy rich as far as receiving targets.

    A non factor WR..

Its funny that EVERY offseason people talk about this guy as if he has even a little talent. The dude will never be any more than a practice squader. This is last year he will be practice squad eligible and in 2013 he will not be with the team. Pruitt nothing more than practice squad fodder.
I believe any man's finest hour - his greatest fulfillment to all he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle...Victorious

OK cool, but what is it that makes him so worthless??

Armando reported today that Pruitt has stood out. Why is this meaningless??

I posted on this subject about a week ago and was basically questioned on how could I know anything about the recievers at this point and told Pruitt is somone who is pumped up every offseason but hasn't done anything when it counts. I posted it because this was being reported at that time.I don't know what will happen with him but I wish him well. Hopefully he gets the oppurtunity I feel he was denied from our previous staff and runs with it.

Wasn't Pruitt one of our better special teams players last year?
You either hate losing so much you are willing to change, or you hate change so much you are willing to lose.

So all we have is stark cynicism and nobody really knows what the discrepancies in his game are??
