Ricky's career with the Dolphins wasnt better then Surtain or Madisons, respectfully....if those twos no.'s are retired I doubt Ricky's will

Ricky is right up there with Csonka in Fin's career rushing and lead the league one year but i don't think any of those names belong with the guys already there. Jason Taylor maybe if he makes the HOF

i watched eevry game he played and he stuck out because as a defense end he wore #35.
Not nearly as quick as Wake but stronger and usually pushes his blocker backward. Lots of tackles for losses and QB hurries though the 6 sacks his last full year where his most.
Set the edge ? No problem. Lots of sacks ? Maybe not.

Anyway, I hope miller changes numbers. I dont like the way #44 looks on him...I feel like anything in the 40's is more for a fullback
i like 44 for some reason. its just seems like a old school rb number.

Well, you want a DE to do both. I expect him to come in to give Cam etc a blow. I loved the way when Saban was here and we used to rotate 10 DL during a game. I remember at least a couple of game where the combo of Carter and Roth just tired out the RT trying to block them. In one game against the Lions, they simply destroyed the entire right side of their OL. The Lions keep mixing and switching OL in to try to counter them.

Vernon reminds me of what koa misi and jared odrick would look like if you combined them. I think Kadduu is going to be our situational pass rusher though, not vernon

I really like the #44 for RBs... Ben Tate wears that from the texans i liked him at auburn, but i don't like it for miller. I agree it suits a more powerful style runner.

according to peyton manning it doesnt matter what numbers are retired, they can be un retired

[QUOTE=brocolli rob;1064317655]34 should be retired. Ricky was such a powerhouse for us when he first came to Miami. So explosive.

    Totally agree.

if you talk about retired numbers, and you think about the dolphins, the very few numbers we've retired, it's pretty elite group.

    12, 13, 39.

now consider what each of those numbers meant to not only the team, and greatness but also what they mean and have meant to miami.
