He was definitely addicted to food. Eating was probably the only thing in his life that gave him any pleasure. But it sounds like his wife was addicted to being an enabler. Imagine if someone alcoholic dude was a paraplegic and his wife kept saying, "I can't stop myself from going to the liquor store to buy him more alcohol." That's what happened here. A sad, extremely fat guy found a wife who wouldn't stop feeding him.
There was an hour long documentary on the guy I watched a few months back. And yes, the wife was a total enabler. She was told by doctors if she kept feeding him that he would die. She couldn't help herself. He would throw a fit and she would run to the kitchen.

It blows me away how someone can get THAT fat. I mean, the physics of it are pretty obvious, but how could anyone be inactive enough to break the 450 barrier? It seems like at 450 or so, basic everyday actions would burn enough calories to keep you from going much higher than that. Then again they are probably putting down more food daily than I can even fathom.

What happened to Shouright? I saw a brief post by Walrus about it last night and hadn't really noticed he was gone before reading it...

If I could take your pain and frame it, and hang it on my wall,
maybe you would never have to hurt again...

Did you meet my wife at the liquor store?

No it wasn't the phins, he started his own "objectively" based board. I used to know the name but have since forgotten it. He wanted only level headed stat based discussions based on tangible facts and not subjective comments. Guess it didn't workout for him lol.

There was nothing objective about his use of stats. That's funny that he wanted to start a completely new site. Even if he wasn't a douchebag, you have to know your audience. Most football fans wouldn't find that kind of discussion interesting. It wouldn't have worked...

Miami should have taken Zach Mettenberger over Arthur Lynch. I don't know what they see in that guy. That was a missed opportunity.

Of course the tempo is off, brian hartline is still #2...
