    Yup, but I consider them friends so I won't name them specifically. But being an ideologue does nothing but further muddle the political arena. What good does pining for how things should be do you when it'll never be like that...?

    I'm using it in terms of someone who pushes for things that are unrealistic just because they feel that's the way it should be. For example, I find libertarians to be ideologues for the most part. They believe the free market will keep itself balanced, when pragmatically all a free market leads to is an eventual winner among competition and a monopoly for said company...
